In addition to a valid passport, some foreign nationals are required to obtain a visa, issued by the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your country, to enter Japan.
To request a set of visa supporting documents including an invitation letter, completion of registration with full payment is required in advance. In the registration confirmation email, you will find an URL to access to the visa application page. Please note that your application will be reviewed by the organizer and in some cases the organizer will require you the abstracts which have been on the online journals, and issuance of documents may be declined. Please also note that this invitation letter is not a commitment on the part of the APHRS2017 and JHRS2017 to provide any financial support, nor it is a guarantee of the acceptance of an abstract/case, nor a guarantee that the consulate will issue the visa. We suggest you to complete your registration and make application by July 31st, 2017 since it sometimes takes more than a month to obtain a visa from the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your country.
The Japanese Embassy or Consulate may also request you to fill in other forms and/or provide additional documents. We strongly recommend that you contact the embassy in advance, to check their specific requirements.
For more details of the procedures, please visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan or contact the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your country as steps may vary from country to country.
