If you wish to modify your abstract, you may do so as many times as you wish before noon on February 13 February 19. You may also withdraw your abstract. Please note that no registrations, revisions or withdrawals can be made after the deadline. Website traffic is anticipated to be particularly high just before the deadline. To avoid delays or missing out, please make your submission as early as possible before the deadline.

If you have a firewall or other security software installed on your computer, you may be unable to access the registration page.     During the registration process, all authors will be required to provide membership number for either the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society (JHRS) or the Japanese Society of Electrophysiology (JSE). If you forgot or lost your membership number, please inquire at the JHRS or the JSE secretariat office via fax or email.

  2. Body of the Abstract

    The body of the abstract (excluding title, author name(s) and organizational affiliation(s)) must be 250 words or less in English. It may include one diagram, which should be in GIF or JPEG format and of 300 KB or less in size. The diagram can be in either landscape or portrait orientation and will be reduced to about 75 mm x 45 mm when printed. Please note that even if you submit a color diagram, it will be printed in black and white. In case the abstract includes a diagram, the body of the abstract should be 150 words or less.

    In the case of symposium and panel discussion proposals, the author must submit an abstract written in English for the proceeding as well as one for the selection process, which should be no more than 500 words. Note that the diagrams for a symposium and panel discussion proposal cannot be registered via the online submission system. Please submit them separately to the JHRS secretariat office via email or postal mail, to arrive by Friday, February 14 Wednesday, February 19. When you do so, please identify the figures or images with your registration number.

  3. Registration Number and Password

    Upon your abstract registration, you will automatically be assigned a registration number. With this number and your own password, you will be able to access and revise your registered abstracts as many times as you wish, up until Thursday, February 13 Wednesday, February 19 at 12:00 noon.

    You will be responsible for the safekeeping of your password and other confidential information. We strongly urge that you keep a note of your registration number and password, as you will need them to confirm receipt of your abstract and revise your submission. Please note that, for security reasons, if you lose or forget your password or registration number we will be unable to provide them to you under any circumstances.

  4. Presentation Language for General Presentation

    Please select your presentation language, either gJapanese or Englishh or gJapanese preferredh at the time of registration. Note that all slides and posters must be in English only.

  5. Presentation Style for General Presentation

    Please select your presentation style, either goral or posterh or gposter preferredh at the time of registration.

  6. Type of Presentation Language

    The presentation language will, in principle, be as per your indication. The presentation style, however, will be determined by the congress secretariat with regard to the schedule.

  7. Publication of Accepted Abstracts

    Accepted abstracts will be published in the proceeding in which abstract title, text, author's name and organizational affiliation will be printed exactly as you registered on the website. We recommend you to carefully read the instructions on this website before filling out required information upon submitting your abstract.

3. Requirements

The first author and co-author(s) must be members of the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society or the Japanese Society of Electrocardiology, and must have paid the 2013 membership dues.

If you are not a member of the either societies, the membership application form is available on the JHRS or JSE website. Please download the form and complete the application process.

4-3. Young Investigator Award (YIA)

If you are applying for a general presentation, please indicate whether or not you would like your abstract to be forwarded to the YIA selection process. The final nominees will be selected based on peer-review recommendation. Those finalists will make a presentation for the final selection at the YIA session during the congress.
